I usually went to Pluit on Sunday for a pray, followed by lunch or a little snack at nearby place (Pluit or PIK). Recently I go to PIK Avenue, since it is the newest mall there and my favourite place is their Japanese food court Dotonburi on the 2nd floor. There's a similar concept with AEON in it. A couple store sell sushi, bowl, tempura etc. So much food in it, and they sell it per pc. That's why it's a very appropriate place for a snack. Well, there're also dougnuts and fried chicken, but still in Japanese style. I place myself in front of Tori Ichi. This blog is a short review of it. This is the second time I ate since they opened in Taman Anggrek. When I found it at PIK Avenue, i have no doubt to try it again. Their main menu is chicken, like their name. (Tori means chicken, ichi means one.. so once chicken.. no it's just my guess. lols) I ordered 3 types of yakitori and 1 drink. Yakitori is a Japanese typer of skewered Chicken. First they skrewed the meat on a bamboo, grilled them and use tare sauce (Japenese sauce) for finishing. The tare sauce is sweet and thick. i ordered their chicken meat, chicken karaage and chicken ball. I can say it's just ordinary.. well they cooked it well, they season it well but so simple. I also ordered their mango yakult which I like. I am a huge fans of yakult and mango. So when I first saw the menu and find this. I ordered it at once. I'm glad that I chose this. It's light and sweet. Address
