In the middle of the day, I missed Tahu kipas from my childhood memories. So, I turn around and headed to a very old, but still fantastic restaurant, called Pondok Laguna. This is one of my favourite restaurant since I can remember. My family used to come here for celebrating birthday or New year. The restaurant is quite easy to find. They have a large and iconic Gourami Fish outside the restaurant.

Some people are born to be a dessert-addict and I'm the one of them. Haha. Here in Jakarta, Korean dessert is like everywhere! And i spotted one in Pesanggrahan, just go along the road and found this cute restaurant in the second floor. There are sign like in airport, in 2 languages, korean and english. And I know in one glaze, this is a right spot for hanging out with friends.
It's the same group as Holycow that I posted in this link http://jessappetite.weebly.com/culinary/holy-cow. My expectation is very high since holycow is superb. So here I came to their other restaurnant, Loobie Lobster & Shrimp.
I have a wonderful day with just Japanese food to eat. First thing, I went to Ennichisahi Festival, and didn't have enough food to eat, and the reason is it's really crowded. I couldn't even move my leg. So, I decided to move on to another Japanese restaurant. Since I'm in the mood into it. And there I want to Kin no taki, a very nice Japanese restaurant in Thamrin
Welcome to my favourite bakso in town! It's actually from Medan, but they opened their branch in Jakarta. I forget when exactly they opened it. But If I can remember, maybe it's around 1998. Maybe.. So it's quite old but still GREAT! It's located at Mangga Besar, it's where all the great food located in one street.
Their named the restaurant based on one of Indonesia famous comedian, Tukul Arwana. I don't know it's just coincidence or not. But as I remember the restaurant opened in the same time when Tukul hit the show. But anyway, the location here is easy to find and catchable. You can see the restaurant in the first glance while waiting for the red light.
Hello BSD! This was the third time I'm seeing this beautiful authentic Japanese mall in Serpong. My favourite spot here is their food culture and the Aeon itself. Why? Because it represent the Japanese style more than the others. Aeon is basically a Japanese supermarket, everyone should know this one, and walk to the other side of this mall, you will find the food culture. Food culture is Japanese food court where you can find Japanese snack and food here.
Crepes crepes crepes.. for such a long time, I only know one brand that I liked. But that day, I found another one that will satisfy my hunger. They fold the crepes and make it so biggg.. bigger than my face to handle it.
I ate at this place since it was Lau's Kopitiam, and since I can't remember, it magically change the name as Lau's Kopi. I heard because some company already patent the name of Kopitiam. Kopitiam itself is named after kopi and tiam, which means Kedai kopi (cafe). There are so many kopitiam with different named of course in Jakarta, but for the food, Lau's Kopi is one of my favourite.
I know they first opened in Plaza Senayan and got very deeply in love with their bread. Now, they are opened in Plaza Indonesia and gotta try it. First, from appearance, I think that Plaza Senayan have more varieties than here. But when I asked the waiter, he said it the same, but the they put the small amount of display in plaza indonesia.
