I need to escape from j-town and my hectic work for a while. And after a short decision, I decided to go to Bandung for just one day before once again back to work. I went there with one plan only RELAX! sO, i didn't want to think at all. I arrived there at noon and my hungry stomach couldn't wait. So, I found a Sundanese restaurant and once again without thinking went into it. First step, I got a little regret. The restaurant is so big, and even separated into 2, table and 'lesehan'. But there's only 1 or 2 table with people. Other was empty. But not to think of it, I chose the 'Lesehan'. It was across the main building. All the servant was nice! the hospitality and their smile is a big applause for them. Sundanese restaurant is an authentic Indonesia food, combining poultry, seafood, vegetables etc. All in one place. Usually they served in sambal, fried, or grilled. My first choice went to Salted egg fried squid which is so good and I forget what I regret just in one bite. It's crispy but soft in the same time. My little concern was, since it was salted egg. I prefer to be a litttle salty. I also ordered 'penyet' chicken. Just by the look, you can also guess that this was so spicy! yes it is!! One good thing, that all the chicken meat had flavor in it. So, in every bite, the flavor is the same and yes it was delicious. There was no completion without vegetables. So, I chose to have Kailan with oyster sauce. I also order timbel rice. The difference was the rice is folded with banana leaves, which make the rice more sticky and have a nice smell. Address
