Usually porridge is for breakfast or sick people. But for me, I like to eat porridge every time I want to. And I found just a perfect place to eat porridge. It's an old restaurant in Mangga besar. Old, but still in my mood. The restaurant is on a small road, with a red plank. Just a simple porridge but find it different from another porridge.

I was craving for Martabak one day, and I ring on go-jek (thanks a lot for this application). Basically martabak have 2 types, sweet (topped with cheese, ceres, and nuts) and the other types are a savoury one with meat and eggs (fulled with egg, chicken / beef, and leek). Both of them are wonderful!
It's said that they are the best for Beef Kwetiau! Kwetiau is a stir fried flat rice noodles. It's very common in Jakarta, like almost every where. Basically they have 2 forms, wet one and dried one. But right now, they already make them in different technic, like yam, bun, etc.
I came here for celebrating the new year's eve with my family. When it came to a celebration, it means full tummy! And what a delightful dinner that I got. I really loved their place! A homey traditional Indonesian restaurant. When first I came in, I could scent jasmine aroma therapy and saw water fountain. And the most important thing the taste was great!
I got confused post or not to post this genki sushi, because I had already post it before (follow the link http://jessappetite.weebly.com/culinary/genki-sushi-serving-sushi-with-train) . After not so long thinking about this, I decided to write again about this lovely sushi. Not only because it is different store, but I'm pretty sure this restaurant is my most favourite japanese restaurant right now.
Here is now my favourite drink in town! I'm suppa in love with this since my boyfriend asked me to try it. It's their signature dish, macchiato! When I first heard about it, I was thingking about espresso with a dash of frothy steamed milk. But I was wrong. It wasn't coffee, it was tea macchiato.
I was in Central park that day. After a long meeeeting with my cousins, we ended up by having a dessert in Holy Snow. Actually, I only ate a little since I was very full that day. But I knew that it taste good.
I saw this restaurant a couple times and really want to try it once. From outside, the facade seems nice with a white wall, green window and green door. And one day I had that chance. I went here for lunch with 1 of my friend.
